Finn
Adult Male - Miniature Poodle
Meet Finn 🐾
Finn is a 3-year-old, 20-pound miniature poodle who recently came to us after being surrendered from a puppy mill to the Chippewa County Humane Association ♥️.
He’s a nervous guy who’s still learning about the world outside of a puppy mill. Right now, everything feels new and a bit overwhelming for him, so we’re taking things slow — giving him time, structure, and positive experiences to help build his confidence.
As is common for puppy mill rescues, Finn loves other dogs! So we are giving him new doggy friends to help his healing process.
Finn is not currently available for adoption as he works through some understandable fears and learns how to be a companion dog. But love is patient 😊. If interested, follow his story! With time and training, we believe he’ll grow into a wonderful pet for the right family.
We’ll keep sharing updates as Finn makes progress on his journey. 💛

Here comes Hectór.. his name was inspired by a favorite character in a movie (as his rescue mom picked him as her favorite..) Hectór is a cool kid to his core. He seems to have the most docile demeanor of the whole crew, but is happy to meet new people, dogs and honestly, just sit back and watch whatever is happening.

Lobo
Male Puppy - Mixed Breed

Lobo is the wolf of the crew, not only is he the biggest, he’s got the most opinions on everything 😂 He is a bit feistier than the rest. But that aside, he still has room for being snuggled and adored!

Sola
Female Puppy - Mixed Breed
American Pitbull Terrier, Australian Cattle Dog, Supermutt, and Boxer.
Sola is the only girl of the litter.. hence her name meaning “single” in Spanish! But don’t be fooled.. she might be the runt, but she is clearly the leader of the crew! She is fierce and confident in herself, making her such a special girl. She’s always the first to greet a new dog and always the first begging to be held (she loves to snuggle!)

Oso is next, and his name means “bear” in Spanish. This is quite fitting for him as his coat color is just stunning! Oso is happy to be a part of everything.. whether it’s playtime, snuggles or exploring. He’s got a sweet, but confident demeanor and is up to whatever challenge or adventure is next.

Brandi is a gentle, thoughtful soul. She’s playful but more reserved, and while she loves attention from people, she can be a little unsure around other dogs.
When she’s separated from her sister, her confidence really starts to shine — she’s beginning to explore and engage more every day! She has so much potential to blossom with a calm, supportive family.
